List of Android 4.3.3 Improvements Leaks


We first got wind of the Android 4.4.3 update earlier this week thanks to a rumor that claimed that the software is currently undergoing testing and that it includes a fix for a battery draining camera bug. Now more details of the impending update have surfaced, including a fairly lengthy list of other bug fixes.



An Android Police source claims to have a test build of Android 4.4.3 running on a Nexus 5, and according to this tipster, the update is focused on maintenance rather than introducing new features. The list of fixes that the update currently includes is as follows:


  • Frequent data connection dropout fix
  • mm-qcamera-daemon crash and optimization fixes
  • Camera focus in regular and HDR modes fixes
  • Power Manager display wakelock fix
  • Multiple Bluetooth fixes
  • Fix for a random reboot
  • App shortcuts sometimes got removed from launcher after update
  • USB debugging security fix
  • App shortcuts security fix
  • Wi-Fi auto-connect fix
  • Other camera fixes
  • MMS, Email/Exchange, Calendar, People/Dialer/Contacts, DSP, IPv6, VPN fixes
  • Stuck in activation screen fix
